Description: Paid for by private funding, the south end of Juan Tabo is being extended by construction of a bridge, by AUI, Inc. and Franklin’s Earthmoving, utility and dirt contractors respectively. The project consists of a bridge over the deep arroyo at the southern end of Juan Tabo in Albuquerque leading to a housing development on the far mesa at the south end of the image, just southwest of Four Hills. 1000 year concrete flood channels, (arroyos), are being constructed and will be covered with earth to keep the project aesthetic.
This image was created from the “overlook” using a Widelux F8 panoramic camera with Kodak T100 black & white film, speed 125, f8. The image is presented as is, no cropping, and minor adjustments made in Photoshop CS2. A series of photos over the span of the project will be presented as historical imagery. |
